Hi,
I am doing an assignment involving statistics. I have to type exponents and square root, which I don't see on my laptop. How do I do this?

Are you allowed to just type x^y? As in x being the root and y is the exponent? If not, and if you're using Microsoft Word, type the number you want to do. Highlight the exponent and press Ctrl, Shift, and = at the same time. That should do the trick.
