Can I make my LAN ping higher?

Hi I run a internet counter-strike server and I can connect to it over the LAN. When I try to play scrimmages against other teams, they usually spend the whole time whining about my 10 ping. Is there any program or something to raise my ping to 60 or so?
Thanks for any help

Between 10 ping and 60 ping there shouldn't be much difference since they are both very good pings. I think your friends need to stop blaming thier lack of skill on a frivilous detail =).

I don't think it's possible to do it on purpose unless you increase your network activity so much it bogs it down.

your ping is much lower than his because you are running the server (i assume) if he wants to complain about it start the server on his computer. and there is no way to just type in some magic command to make your ping worse.

i went to the tomshardware forums and all i got was this lousy signature.

Set a million downloads up, run a few thousand programs, put up conflicting security, and you should be about right.

try this:
open a command prompt
type this:
ping 127.0.0.1 -t -l 65500
then play the game.
to stop the loop use control+c
