Mscomct2 ocx windows 7 compatible

Hi,

I am wondering if the library msccomct2.ocx is compatible with Windows 7. I am planning to upgrade my system but I have an excel tool that uses this library and I won't be able to upgrade my system if it doesn't work.

Thanks!

RS.

  2. Rick Su,

You can always run as Admin and run in compatibility mode. Also, Microsoft does have an official Windows 7 Support Forum located here http://tinyurl.com/9fhdl5 . It is supported by product specialists as well as engineers and support teams. You may want to also check the threads available there for additional assistance and guidance.

  3. I think the article covered that
  4. Also to add, if you get Win7 Ultimate (or Enterprise) you also get for free "XP Mode" which is a pre-activated copy of XP that runs in VirtualPC for things that still have difficulty after the above mentioned options are tried.
  5. especially good too, ACAD 2005 won't run in Win7, but will run in compatability mode, very good
  6. Thank you very much for the tips, I will have a look at these forums!
