I share (windows workgroup) a brother 5140 printer attached to a local
parallel port on a windows 98se pc. All our systems print fine except our
pcs with xp home with SP2. They will not print pdf files or word files.
The windows test page and notepad files print fine. I have installed the
latest printer driver as well as all the office updates for windows xp and
office xp.

Thanks in advance for any advice.
