Is it possible to changr the graphics card on a notebook? I mean both integrated like intels or not integrated freestanding.

The processors of notebooks are often overdimensioned for the graphics that accompany them. or vice versa.

no...unless you like soldering but then that probably won't work either. First of all most of the graphics are intigrated into the north bridge as on desktop systems this is soldered to the motherboard, even if there was a way to remove this, where would you get the graphics chip upgrade? You are prolly wondering if there is some upgrade card that will accelerate your current controller...i doubt this too it would be fasater to use the agp bus than the pcma bus so its really not worth it.

Dell made some notebooks with a graphics daughter board, which could be replaced. However, you still had to make sure the new drivers would work.

Tom's has done some notebook graphics comparisons where they put both nVidia chip and ATI chip daughterboards in the same system.

P3 man, all but the newest integrated solutions, are a seperate chip on the board. The only graphics chipset integrated into the northbridge that I know of is the mx440 in the nforce 2. The SiS Xabre might be.. i forgot.
