Hello.

Does Null Rod stop players from drawing mana from an artifact...eg. a Mox.

I see no exception for mana abilities.

Well, let's go ask the Oracle:

This stops all activated abilities from all artifacts. That includes
any ability with a colon, including a Mox's or Artifact Land's
"{T}: Add <something> to your mana pool".

If it had an exception for mana abilities, it would have to say so,
like Damping Matrix does.

Yes. They are artifacts. Null Rod doesn't -care- that they are also lands;
it doesn't say "can't play nonland artifacts' activated abilities". It also
shuts off a Mishra's Factory or Blinkmoth Nexus _after_ it has animated itself
(though not before).
