9800 Pro not performing like it could do

Hi, i just got a new powercolour radeon 9800 pro.

I cant enable fastwrite! Is this normal (p4c800 deluxe), or am i doing something wrong?

If any one has this card would you mind telling me how to set the settings to get the most out of it, thanks.

Run 3Dmark, see what you got
from what I know, you don't need fastwrite
I can't enable fastwrite either, but my R8500LE is performing perfectly as I expect

Fastwrites rely both on a motherboard chipset that supports the feature, as WELL as a BIOS that supports it.

Don't worry though; Fastwrite performance boosts are hardly even worth mentioning.

More often than not they make a system unstable, which is why alot of motherboard manufacturers disabl;e them in their BIOS's, even thouigh the chipset officially supports the feature.
