I want to upgrade from WinME to WinXP and the NTSF file system. What I would like to know is if Winxp will convert my external HDD from the FAT32 file system to the NTSF system during the install phase or if I have to use convert.exe after install. Will it even work?????
Have lots of questions and no answers.
Any help appreciated.

Thank you I'm sure this will help. One more thing, this is not a scsi but a maxtor 80Gig and I was wondering if I should disconnect it before I load XP and then reconnect after install?????

SCSI devices can be either internal or external (with enclosure).

 Good or Bad have no meaning at all, depends on what your point of view is.
