Bottleneck?

Hi, just wondering if anyone would know the answer to this: I have a an XP2100+ running 1Gb of PC2700 on an ASUS A7N8X with a 64Mb GeForce Ti4200. If I was to install a GeForce FX5900 Ultra 256Mb, would the CPU slow it down? if so would a XP2800 333Mhz Barton be a better match?

PS would I see a huge performance leap with the new FX card over my Ti4200 (without the CPU upgrade?)

A better CPU will help down the road, but it's not bottlenecking 3d performance so much that you won't see a huge increase.

The 5900 will show you impressive results, mostly with AA and ansio though.
