i have a aopen ax6bc mainboard with a p3 prosesser. i tried uppgrading from windows 98 se to xp. during the first reboot under installation the machine boots up to the part "verifying DMI pool data" and stops there. I have ttride this a few times with same result each time. my version of xp is good i installed it on another machine with no problems. so it has to be a hardware problem. my bios is uppgraded with the latest versionso i dont know what to do. please help me.
