Hi all,
I am using Microsoft Antispyware and when it asked me that there was file
willing to access my computer I chose to block it. The name of the file given
was completely unknown to me. It appeared later that I could no longer access
Symantec.com . When I try to update Norton Anti Virus, I 'd get a message
that "Update could not retrieve the update list" I must say that the file
given to me at the block statement did not start with (nav) at all.
I can access everything on the Net except for Symantec.com. I checked on all
buttons under Internet Options but I could not trace where I can unblock that
site. I checked also under Microsoft Antispyware but could not find anything
either.

Your help urgently pleeeease!!

I've had NO problems with Microsoft Antispyware and Norton living happily
together. While I am hardly an expert on these things, you can possibly
find what you've done within Antispyware at Tools|Real-Time
Protection|Security Agent Events. That begs the question of how you fix it
-- and I don't know as I've not experimented with that. On the other hand,
if you can "do" it you presumably must be able to "undo" it.

Good luck,

Bob

I should have pointed out that there IS an Antispyware forum that hopefully
can provide help with this . . .

Did you notice that MS antispyware is "beta". Uninstall it, and do a system
restore, to see if you can gather back your access, and update your
definitions. MS is already blocking out NAV, now that MS is going to get
into the AV business *-).
