Truemobile 2300 VPN Question

I have recently purchased a TM 2300 Wireless b/g router. It works
beautifully after upgrading to the latest firmware.

My question is this: Documentation is fuzzy on VPN passthru, and I am
having difficulty connecting to my VPN since installing the router. I
am attempting PPTP connection to my Windows 2000 Server. It worked
great when the server was connected to the DSL modem directly, and was
using it as a router, so I know my server is configured properly. I
have ports 1723 and 500 forwarded to my server's IP address. When I
dial in remotely, I get to the Verifying Password, but then errors out.

I can log in from inside the router.
Does the router not support GRE protocol 47???
