Hey what's up guys, taking a take home quiz for my A+ class.. and i can't find the answers to a few questions.

You have a windows 9x system and are using LFN's, what is the danger in running old DOS disk utilities on a Windows 9x system housing LFN's

see the LFN's as errors and will erase them
dos utilities will stop running when they encounter LFN
the dos utilities will format the hard drive if they encounter LFN
or the utilities will ignore files with LFN

9X writes two files, one long and one short to support dos, so I would say it would ignore the long files.

you can't....... you have to pay for it... im gonna get mine around December when im done with my first semester... but you have to pay like 278$ or something like that..... But if you get hired by a company, some companies will pay for your first attempt

A+ costs (did when I took it a few months ago) $278, $139 for the Hardware exam and $139 for the OS exam. I took mine through <A HREF="http://www.2test.com/index.jsp" target="_new">Prometric</A>. The tests are only 30 mins each. The harware took me 10, but the OS took about 20-25 :/. Alot to do with the differences between 3.1, 95, 98, NT and 2K.
