Acer keyboard not working mouse okay need to enter password

Plug in a USB keyboard, thats your quickest way of "getting it going".

Besides that your keyboard might be shot, however it's possible you could take it apart and clean it - but that's not guaranteed to work.

Edit: whats your OS?

If you have windows 7 click on the bottom left icon that looks like a clock and select "Use on screen keyboard" and click OK. This will allow you to select your letters and numbers with your mouse.

thanks, that works great! forgot about that feature. Now if you could only make the screen on my Toshiba work that would be awesome! Thanks again
