WHAT IS MY LAPTOP WORTH?

I bought a HP pavilion dv6 about a year ago for 1100, its in excellent condition with 2 very small scratches. It runs on 8 Gb ram, 450 Gb hdd. The processor is AMD phenom(tm) N970 Quad core processor 2.20GHz and the GPU is ATI mobility Radeon HD 6550.
the Model number is Dv6-3206AX.

how much do you think its worth?

well i bought $1100 a year ago, it's a HP Pavilion Pv6 notebook if that helps.

Look at the model number on your laptop and tell us what it is. It doesn't help to just know the model and not the exact detail. I would however say 600-700 at most depending on how beat up it is.

PV6 (or is it, more likely, DV6?) is just a series. Different models within that series have wildly varying specs. The full model number is needed to be more specific. For instance, I'm using a DV7-6163US at the moment.

Without any more specifics than you've given, I'd say 400-800 depending on exactly which i7 and GPU it has and how well you've taken care of it.

Ok sorry for putting the wrong model number its just the first time someone asks for that, my model number is Dv6-3206AX

Personally, I would pay only $600 since you can get a brand new laptop for $700-$800 with an HD screen at 15", a similar CPU, and a better GPU. You should go on Craiglist and see the price of other laptop and see what price would make your laptop sell easily while getting a good amount of cash for it.
