I currently have a GF3 Ti200. Is it worth me jumping to a GF4 Ti4200? I like the look of the MSI Ti4200 128mb 8x for ~$120. I'm trying to squeeze some life out of my system until the Prescott arrives this October.

The performance difference is huge, and the price isnt that bad. I would do it. Good question though.

it's true..but don't you think that P4 1.3Ghz is a little old?

Thanks for the opinions.

Yeah, the 1.3ghz is old. Too old. I am going to buy an I865 board and a 2.4c PIV in the next couple of weeks. I guess I should have mentioned that =) . With the new setup, a Ti4200 won't be the best card, but I want to wait until all the good games (e.g. HL2, Doom3, Deus Ex2, Battlefield Vietnam) come out this fall/next spring to buy a 9800pro (or similar card). Until then the Ti4200 should run the current games just fine. Next spring I also might replace the 2.4c with a Prescott.

If I were u I would not buy the GF4 as you plan on buying a 9800. Squeeze out as much performance as u can from that GF3 and then get the 9800 sooner!

You'd definitely notice a difference.

Wether it's worth it is up to you.
