i tried to put in the card without any changes in the bios it is not giving me display.
i checked the bios i could not find any setting to disable my onboard graphics.

1. Check your manual, maybe there is a jumper, or there should be an option that says "Primary Display Adapter", set it to PCI
2. I don't know, got to check online or your manual
3. what do u mean by "power my cpu on with my keyboard"? I don't get it, you want the num-lock to be on when pc starts?

3) Somewhere in BIOS most modern boards have "power on keyboard" settings and you can select which key/key combo to use.

thats the same board i have in one of my comps, you cant make it boot to a pci card. though once you get into windows you can make it the primary display and disable the second one, but you still wont be able to see anything on it before you get into windows.
