No sound in wndow 7

Hello,
I just installed window 7( I had vista before) on my laptop but don't have sound for anything through speakers, but able to listen sound through earphones. please suggest what to do?

Go to manufacturers website and install the appropriate audio drivers.

First of all check whether your laptop is Win 7 ready (If it was manufactured after Jan '07, it is)
You then need to browse the website, search for your model number & download the appropriate drivers for Win 7.
