Go look at some of the reviews if you need some reasons (it's the obvious choice).

I've got a GF4 Ti4200 128mb ViVo made by Leadtek. I've had it for a year and it does everything I need it to do. If I had the cash there'd be a 9700Pro in my system though. Realistically if I was buying a card today I'd get the 9600 Pro.

9500Pro is slightly faster but requires a good PSU (because you have to power it directly from the PSU) and it's become hard to find.
The 9600Pro is powered by the AGP slot only and from what I've heard it overclocks really well (each card has different overclocking potential).

I got a 400 Watt PSU and I can buy a 9500. I can also get a 9600 but they don't stock the 9700. What would be better to buy the 9500 pro, or the 9600 pro and OC it?

Crap. Ok I'm looking into another supplier now, and their 9600's are a really good deal right now, too good to pass up. Anyway what would be better

OR
Radeon 9600 256M DDR, VGA, DVI, TV-O, AGP8x
