After putting my Radeon 9600pro in my computer, there is some beeping noise and nothing after that. The computer simply woudn't boot. It acts as if it was missing a memory. When I put my old graphic card on it, it works fine. I run an Abit KG-7 Raid with Athlon xp 1800+ processor. The computer is homebuilt.

If your old GFX card is a PCI board and your new Radeon is AGP, then you need to make sure that your system BIOS is set to initialize AGP first. I've had this problem before too in the past. You'll have to put your old GFX card in to change the setting, then put your new one in after you have saved changes to your BIOS and shut down.

If, however, your old card is also AGP, then sorry I'm not sure what the problem is.

Fatal Error #449: Unable to process the "Go to Hell" command specified.

Long story short, the motherboard didn't give AGP slot enough voltage for the 9600pro to run. I returned it and got myself a 9500pro which now has direct X 9.0 support and it works just fine.
