I know, I know... it's an "old" card. (I apolgise for the history lesson. :)

But do you think I can use this Radeon 8500 AGP 2x card in my new Asus P4P800 Deluxe mobo ?

I realise it wouldn't go as fast as a shiny new 8x card, but I just need it to "work" for 1-2 months before getting more $$$ for newer 8x card.

The manual for mobo says it only supports 1.5V cards. I can't find the specs anywhere for the Radeon 8500 to tell me what voltage it is.

I suspect the answer may be NO, but I just wanted to check with people who know about these things...

Thanks for your help...

IT WILL WORK!!! Any AGP 4x or 8x card will work in your board, and that card is compatible in terms of voltage with AGP 2x and 4x, and will run at AGP 4x speeds. In other words it will work.
