I just ordered a GF4 Ti 4800se card and was wondering what drivers would be best for that one?
Should I stick with Gainwards own drivers or use the Nvidia reference ones?
What Driver (number) would be most efficient? THANX :)

You could try the omega drivers here.

Or go ahead and stick with the regular nVidia detonators...

I garnered a 15-20% increase in performance when I installed the omegadrivers for my 9500 pro. I average over 200 fps in UT now...it rawks. Hope this helps ya.

The newest Detonator drivers worked well for my Gainwards GF4 Ti4200 AGP4X card.

Give them a whirl.

The newest DET. drivers are 44.90 ones availible at theGURUof3D

I would also recommend the OMEGA Detonators, although it is their last batch. They get great kudos (they are more for quality and features more than just benchmark #s), until Nvidia threw their lawyers at tweakers; Ba$tardz!.

Yeah, they usually help. I have an ATI R9600P and the ATI Omega's come with a tuner/overclocker. I would suggest going with those for your NV and it should come with a tweaker. Also check GURU, they have a bunch of recommended tweakers including RIVA and Powerstip.

I just used Rage3Dtweak to 'tune' my R9600P to 500/349 for a test comparison to an old post. So yes, I'm pro 'tuning' and pro-omegas (although like I said they are the last one [probably], read my thread about the Omegas)
