I bought a new MN-720 kit. I already have the MN 500 Base
station, and a Microsoft PCI wireless adapter connected
and operating now. I just want to upgrade to the 802.11G
technology that the MN 720 offers. How do I swith out the
two systems? Should I totally uninstall the existing
system? This scenario is not addressed in the mannual.

The MN-500 supports only 802.11b, whereas normally a router/base station
that is capable of 802.11g can also do 802.11b. You would need to purchase
a base station which supports 802.11g and update your PCI wireless adapter,
too.
