Prob with Radeon 9800

I just bought a Sapphire Radeon 9800 Pro 256MB. It was part of a brand new system, specs are:
Intel D875PBZ MB
3.0GHz P4 800MHz FSB
1GB Samsung PC2700 RAM
Win XP Pro
SB Extigy
I installed UT2003 and RTCW, and both have probs. I am guessing it is a vid card problem, because of the distortion. Both games have screen corruption, and i don't know why. I tried using the original drivers and the Catalyst 3.6 drivers, neither one fixed the problem. I also tried updating the game, to no avail. Any ideas on what is causing my screen disruption and how to fix it?

I'd guess overheating, or a bad card maybe.

Try running the machine with the side panel off and a fan blowing on it. That might help if it's a coolingt problem.

If that doesn't work, try the card in another machine. If it still doesn't work, it's probably a bad card and you need to RMA it.

Hmmmm, have it water-cooled, so probably not overheating... I will try in another pc
