ati Radeon Powersupply Tags: Graphics Cards Connection Radeon Powersupply Hard Drives ATI Graphics Last response: July 22, 2003 2:57 PM in Graphics & Displays Share GoodWillow July 22, 2003 12:19:56 PM Is it necessary that you connect your ati (Radeon 9500 and up)to the powersupply AND a harddrive or can you connect it to the powersupply with NO harddrive attached to it? And what is the reason you have to connect them both? More about : ati radeon powersupply cleeve July 22, 2003 12:52:20 PM The only reason that the Radeon power supply hook up has an extra prong is in case you are running out of power plugs and need an extra one for a CD rom drive or hard disk. You certainly do NOT have to use the extra power plug. ------------------ Radeon 9500 w/256 bit memory bus @ 367/310 AMD AthlonXP 2000+ 3dMark03: 3439 GoodWillow July 22, 2003 2:57:37 PM Thank you for making that clear.
