Problems with monitor

i just put in a USB 2card now my monitor has no signal. why

Did you slightly dislodge the connector for your video card or nudge the video card itself. Check that it is seated properly and that your cable is pushed in securly and connectors/ cablesare are OK.They may look secure but the slightest knock can sometimes stop it working

I'll assume both cards are PCI. Try a different PCI slot.
