Does anyone have the original bios for the Connect3d Radeon 9500pro (with Hynix 3.6ns memory)?I flashed mine with the Warp version to overclock it but i get artifacts in 3dmark03 now even without overclocking.I saved a copy of the original bios but it is corrupted.I would be very grateful if someone could supply me with a copy of the bios so i can reflash my card.If anyone has a bios for another make of 9500 pro card which uses Hynix 3.6ns then that should work too, shouldn't it?

Are you sure that your old version is corrupted?

Did you save it on a bootable floppy disk? I did when I saved my old 9500 pro bios. WinXP can't read the disk, but the disk still works as a boot disk and the bios is still there.

So if you did the same try booting from the floppy disk, the bios should still work.

If this doesn't work, I'd probably head over to the Rage3d forums http://www.rage3d.com/board/ and ask someone with the same card as you to backup their bios and send a copy to you.

If you know what your doing you can edit your bios with RadEdit. But you should read the documentation first so that you know exactly what you are doing.

Unfortunately i think i have to use a bios from a (PAL) card with 3.6ns Hynix memory (as opposed to the 3.0ns Infineon which the Hercules card uses). Thanks very much for the effort all the same.Much appreciated  .

AAAAAAAAAARGGHH!!!
I managed to get a back-engineered warp11 bios from someone on the rage3d board, i.e. warp had edited it from the warp11 back to the (theoretical) original.Unfortunately i am still getting a lot of artifacts in some of the tests (the main dx9 ones it seems) on 3dmark03.In "wings of fury" and in games like Morrowind i get few artifacts if any so i feel my card must be having a problem with dx9.I installed dx9.0b but this made no difference.I really don't know what's going on because i never used to get artifacts anywhere.
My quest for a genuine bios for a 9500pro card with Hynix 3.6ns memory continues!!

hey, saw your post in the other forum,..... bummer, still think someone else out there(with your card) will read this sooner or later........how about trying the omega drivers with the 3.2 or 3.4 cat's??,( but it's most likely your bios like you are saying)-----but anything is worth a shot at this point........ how about contacting the card manufacturer(3d connect),(radeon?) via e-mail and requesting a bios from them???
