Add/Remove Program List Being Populated - Not!

Just had to reinstall my OS yesterday, then upgraded to SP2.

Control Panel|Add/Remove Programs: It SAYS the list is being populated, but
it's been ten minutes now, and nothing. Last night, I left it populating
overnight, and when I came in this morning, the list was finally there.
There's not that much on the computer, as I'm only now in the process of
re-installing.

Oh do I pep up the population?

(Ah,,, just as I was about to hit "send," the list came up -- 12 minutes. A
total of 42 entries, which includes 14 Hotfixes)
