I have been using DVD and video programmes quite satisfactually with
Windows XP and Service Pack 1.

When I install Service Pack 2 and try to Capture Video and pictures the
pictures come out all broken up. Consequently I cannot use SP 2 and any
of its advantages and any forthcoming new Windows XP updates.

Is there a Patch for this problem?

Thomas;
If there are any patches, they will most likely come from your video card
and/or video software manufacturer.
Make sure you have the latest Windows XP drivers.

On the slight chance Microsoft publishes a patch or update, keep an eye on
Windows Update.
