I have just ran 3d mark 03 for the first time after upgrading, my system is:
Barton 2800
512 DDR3200
Asus A7N8X Non- Deluxe
Radeon 9800 Pro
40 gig 7200 ata 133
120 gig 7200 ata 133
Win XP Pro SP1

My 3D Mark was : 2719

Does this seem correct for my setup? I've seen the result from another PC which was identical spec to mine apart from they had a slower vid card. The system just seems a little sluggish than i expected...thxs
All drivers are up 2date

Post the compare link so we can get a better idea of what is going on.

Have you left the TrueForm and/or V-Sync on? These two "function" will dramatically slows down 3DMark03, but I would say ignore 3DMark03 if your games run flawlessly, only when you notice performance drop in gaming then you start to worry, You don't need benchmark to run game at high IQ.

If I agree with you... will you shut up?

Are you running standard 1024x768? No AA/AF?? With that setup at default settings, I'd expect a score of about 5600.

These days, no matter what company you like, be it nVidia, ATi, or whatever, no matter how logical your reasons, you're labeled an idiot or a fanboy, or both.

By default, the ATI drivers have 4xAA and 8x quality aniso on (I believe). Turn those off (application preference) and see what happens.
