ASUS boards recieve all the rave but.......I bought a bad p4c800 about a month ago, too bad I was never able to use it. send it back RMA to asus and what do they send me???? a damaged one. Then they blamed me for damaging it and would not replace it. I finally was able to file a claim via ups (I found a hole poked in the shipping box) but no clue as to who did it. ASUS tech's suck and ASUS customer service is nil...It just doesnt exist and I will never buy another product from them again. In fact, I'm so ticked off I sold my ASUS geforce4 vid card to a friend and bought an ATI brand card. I dont want any ASUS product's in my house period. I'll stick with gigabyte or MSI, at least their customer service reply's to me and their boards dont arrive damaged. ASUS just plain sucks!!

If ASUS had taken care of this issue correctly then I wouldnt have to resort to suing them, I hate to have to do that and expend more money upon myself...But it's about the principle. Please see my other post, I've since replaced the board with a gigabyte model, 8KNXP and have since purchased another board of the same model for my other PC. At least their boards dont arrive broken

If it arrives broken because of shipping you can't blame the company that shipped it... that is unless it was packed very poorly. If a hole was poked in the box, it's the fault of the courier... not the shipper. You'll find quite a few places that won't replace items damaged in shipping. Filing a claim with the courier is a huge PITA.

That's true. Why don't you check with UPS and see if u have some kind of shipping insurance with UPS. Usually UPS offers shipping insurance at very low rated lik a dollar or two. If u have it UPS should pay for it.
