I can't seem to launch Palm Pilot program after I hotsynch. Get an
program generated error saying windows is closing program and will have
to be restarted and creating log.(paraphrase) There is no number
associated with error message.

What does "Palm Pilot program" mean? Does it mean the Palm Desktop,
which is the program you use to access datebook, to-do list, memopad,
etc., on the desktop? Or does it mean something different?

Judging by the later post, the OP appears to refer to Palm Desktop (maybe
HotSync manager, but that seems doubtful). Perhaps palmpilot.exe is the old
filename which we now know as palm.exe (the Palm Desktop executable).

Download the latest software from PalmOne's web site and install it.
Remove the old software first though.
