Halo for PC

Would an Ati AIW 8500dv give sufficient frame rate to play halo at 1024x768, or should I buy a new card by the time halo comes out?

Wait for it. No one knows yet. It ran on an older card in the X-box, but it's supposedly tweaked for the PC. No reviews or benches out yet. And don't buy any card 'til you know.
But nothing so far.

if you can't wait, buy a higher end card like a 9700 pro, this game i think will require a decent card for a pc if released.
But this pc version of halo is not yet sure to come or if it is really going to come in the pc gaming.

Don't buy a card for an "upcoming" game, it will certainly be cheaper by the time you need it.
