The fx is quite faster, especially for future games like DOOM3

Show us SOLID proof that fx5900 is faster in Doom3.
(plz don't mention that 'beta' mini-release arranged by Nvidia and ID, we all know it is kinda rigged :tongue: ).

It's somewhat kind of more optimzed in DOOM3 because of the ultrashadow technology.

Sorry that's just not the proven or even suggested case. FASTER NO, more Shadowey (in more ways than one) MAYBE!

The early benches were nV-centric so I wouldn't go based on that.

Go with the Cheaper one. Neither will really dissapoint.
