Does the different types of radeon 9800 pros sold by different manufacturers have a different clock and mem speed? Is there really any difference or is it mostly just the programs that they bundle in? Which manufacturer in your opinion makes thes best rad 9800 pro? Thanks.

all the cards are basicly threorticly the same, ati sets the standards performance wise some companys use better cooling, some use worse. also powercolour against ati's wishes overclocks the card for you to 420/380appx therefore is best card. if you want to overclock yourself i'v heared safire is best.

good luck and reseach before you but readn some reviews

Ati makes oem for their chips., the performance of their boards is not that but, but i would prefer you to have a powercolour board becuase it has better board designs than the ati.

First of all it's Powercolor. Second thing is their BOARDS SUCK!

ATI's retail boards are much better. Powercolor's memory is often underclocked and of cheaper quality, and their cores are usually poor overclockers.

Go with the ATIs and STAY AWAY from PowerColor

Wanna see why check <A HREF="http://www.hardocp.com/article.html?art=NDgz" target="_new">HERE</A>, pay attention to the Overclocking section.

The very best Mfrs IMO of the R9800s (and most ATI products) are HERCULES, Creative, Visiontek, and Gigabyte. ATI's own cards (BBA) are also GREAT and usually come with the very best warranty in the business.
