All of a sudden, whenever I play a video in Firefox, the Windows 7 sound mixer automatically reduces the volume of iTunes so I can hear the video. Does anyone know why this is happening and how it can be disabled? It's helpful, but I can see it becoming a problem in the future.

This is a new and somewhat weird feature in Windows 7. To disable it, click the volume button on the task bar, then click mixer, then click system sounds. (An alternate way is to open control panel and go to sound). Then go to communication and select the option to do nothing at all or reduce the volume by however much you want. It's up to you. Hope this helps.
