Fun Multi-Player Dragon Deck

I put together a rather amusing deck today, and thought I'd ask for
any further suggestions (but mostly, I just want to show it off, since
my wife doesn't share my enthusiasm for these types of things):

"Sneaky Dragons"

Tutors
1 Gamble Gamble for a critter (zirilan early, fat/utility
later).
2 Vampiric Tutor One of the best all-time tutors
4 Diabolic Tutor A solid choice once the mana is built up
1 Entomb Works like Gamble, except that it always goes to
the yard.

Fishing stuff out of the Graveyard
1 Animate Dead Function of the critter is worth more than power
at times
3 Raise Dead Sometimes, you want the Comes-into-Play-From-Hand
effect
4 Exhume Sometimes, CIP-"from hand" doesn't matter

Mana and a bit of acceleration
4 Dark Ritual Speeds up the tutoring and graveyard digging
early
4 Urborg Volcano A bit slow early, but makes up for it later
4 Sulfurous Springs A bit of pain early and used for colorless later
16 Mountain Standard mana (mountains needed for Fire Dragon)
2 Swamp I'm a bit too chicken to leave it up to the duals
alone

The Dragons
1 Bladewing the Risen Has a nice graveyard-digging effect built in
1 Shivan Dragon When you have lots of red mana to put to use
1 Catacomb Dragon Frag their fliers (unless they have prot black)
1 Vampiric Dragon Hose their weenies down (and he just looks
cool)
1 Fire Dragon Makes all those mountains worthwhile
1 Worldgorger Dragon When you need 7 dmg (remember to activate Mask
on stack)
1 Volcanic Dragon Not superbly functional but the art is cool

The Sneaky Part
1 Zirilan of the Claw Dragon tutor. What more could you want?
3 Sneak Attack All those dragons in your hand get very cheap
suddenly
3 Dragon Mask All those sneaky dragons come back to your hand

Let me know if there is any other things that might smooth the deck
out. The most vulnerable part of the deck are the Sneak Attacks and
Dragon Masks. Perhaps there should be a couple of cards squeezed in
to handle fishing them out of the graveyard if necessary also.

Thanks,
Leon

You are aware of the infinite mana combo that can be created between Animate
Dead and Worldgorger Dragon right?

For a dragon deck, it doesn't seem to have very many dragons...

I'd agree with the other poster that you're pretty light on dragons
here. You do have tutors and stuff, but still... I'd at least take out the
Dragon Masks, maybe Raise Deads too, and add some more dragons. Though I
guess your current deck is more built to only have one or two dragons out at
a time and then retrieve them after a Sneak Attack, which is not so much my
style but I'll let you decide whether to change or not. After that, I think
a few Dragonstorms would be a good idea for a multiplayer deck... when a
couple players get into a counterspell war or a back-and-forth creature
pump/kill war on the other side of the table, your storm count could be very
pleasant. :)

That's a pretty good idea. Any ideas from anyone out there for a red
or black instant that can kill off everyone at the table (except for
me)?

Hmm....instant? No ideas off the top of my head, but you can go with a good
old fashioned Fireball. You can generate infinite mana, so you can Fireball
everyone for 20. Or 20,000. Your choice. Also, rumor has it that there's a
new artifact coming out in Fifth Dawn which allows any non-land spell to be
played as an instant. So you can have an instant Fireball. I guess,
technically, it's not a rumor anymore, as it's been confirmed by Wizards,
but it's still a month off, so maybe sorcery speed will have to do for now.

Staying in theme, I suggest Shivan Hellkite. Get one of those plus a
Worldgorger in the graveyard, generate unbounded red mana with the
combo, then shift the Animate Dead to the Hellkite to stop the combo.
Now pump all that mana through the Hellkite to kill off everyone _and_
their creatures, just for style.

I have a similar deck - here's what I recommend based on my experience:

Replace the 3 Raise Dead with 3 more Animate Dead. They are a much better
card in this deck, and maximize your probablity of getting the infinite mana
combo.

I don't think such a card exists. However, an artifact, red, or black
permanent with an ability to damage multiple players could work. I
considered Rocket Launcher, but technically its drawback prevents you from
using it for this purpose once the Worldgorger Dragon removes it from the
game.

If you only need to kill a small number of opponents, you may be able to use
a seperate instant to kill each player. Or use something like Fork to make a
copy of a 1 player kill spell.

> Hmm....instant?
-snip-
> maybe sorcery speed will have to do for now.

The mana has to be used for an instant or ability in order to break the
infinite loop (by you winning the game). Alternately, you could break the
infinite loop by using some other card to get rid of the dragon. Then you
will be able to cast a sorcery like Fireball which could kill all the other
players.

Most "1-on-1" decks featuring Worldgorger Dragon use Stroke of Genius (Blue,
Instant, Target player draws X cards) as the kill spell. My Dragon deck uses
the blue Dragons (Quicksilver Dragon, Mistform Ultimus;-), too, and all mana
sources I have that can produce blue/black/red (like City of Brass).
Quicksilver Dragon is the best blue dragon because you can play it for 3,
with no need for any blue mana. There are other ways to get it into play
face up, for example, if Worldgorger Dragon removes it face down, it will
return it face up when the WD dies.

I also play 1 Dragonstorm & 4 Seething Song. Wait 'til the other players up
the spell count, cast all your SS's, then your DS... then listen to your
opponents weep! I also use a Rorix Bladewing so that I can start attacking
right away, before anyone can play Wrath of God ;-)

The other other alternate is that you can break the loop by pulling some
-other- creature card out of the graveyard, of course. The loop can't draw
the game unless the Dragon is the only creature card in all graveyards put
together. (Even having two Dragon cards means the loop can't draw the game.)
