My VisionTek Ti500 is running pretty hot. It fried 2 stock fans already. Last time i replaced it with a fan from a celeron motherboard, so far so good.

Late this fall, i would like to upgrade my video card. I been looking at the ATI lineup (9700Pro or 9800Pro) and the nVidia lineup (FX5800 or FX5900). I was wondering if they come with a build in temperature sensors, kind like all the new motherboards come with build in temperature sensors. Do you guys know which ones of the card come with sensors?

Anyone have experience with these cards and the heat they generate?

Thanks

Try a blue orb on your ti 500. Dunno bout the ATI cards...haven't had my 9500 Pro run hot yet.
