Hello,
I have two copies of Xp Home Edition and one copy of Win98
On my Home network. Im using a wireless Dsl service because Dsl or Cable is not yet available in my area but will be soon. The problem is that the service seems really slow. Someone told me that if a use Win XP Pro it will speed up my network and internet speed.
This didn't sound right to me so I thought I would ask here.

It depends on what you want to do but if you want a high security network and plenty of options, go with Professional. If you only have two computers and user rights isn't an issue, go with Home Edition.
