Everytime I play like a music video or other video, I get really weird kinda graphics in media player. It's like a reddish orangy, green lines and it's kinda like the scrambled cable visual, but not really scrambled, more of weird colors and lines. It's kinda hard to explain, but I can't get a clear color out of it. I can watch the movie, but the color is all screwed. When I used Win2K I did not have this problem so I don't know what it is. It's not a refresh prob. either.

please help. thanks

codec conflict perhaps.

try deleting all your video codecs, and installing FDDshow (and nothing else)

it will decode Divx and Xvid, when you need more codecs (like if it says no codec is available to run it)

then download them INDIVIDUALLY, because codec PACKS, are known to cause major conflicts!!!!

(i have microsoft defaults, and FDDshow filter installed NOTHING ELSE, and i can play nearly all movie files except some MPEG-2's)
