Palm is /not/ Windows. You probably do not need any anti-virus software
unless you get yourself involved in risky (potentially malicious) code and
Web sites.

In any case, here is the page you were probably looking for:

http://applications.palmsource.com [...] 9&PSCID=67

I suspect that anti-virus software for Palm targets those who are deceived
by bad experiences with non-secure operating systems. They reckon they can
earn a few bucks for programs that offer protection against potential
attacks that will never ever strike.

Hope it helps,

Roy

PS - remember that Palm handhelds have remote access capabilities (SSH,
telnet, VNC etc.) but do not yet allow access and control from the outside.
It is not practical because they are _mobile_. You can use your remote
control to affect your TV, but not the TV to affect your remote control.

These are utterly unnecessary. There are only two known Palm virii
(viruses, whatever) and these are both "proof of concept virii -- that
is they were created by antivirus companies to prove that such a thing
is possible and have never been found "in the wild." There are also a
couple of Trojans which depend on you being stupid enough to knowingly
download, install, and run them so they can wreak their havoc but they
can't spread from one Palm to another.

Same tactics were used on the PC in the old days. I don't know if this
prevailed. Viruses like pong would scare the bejesus out of you and have
you purchase protection from the same people that introduced the illiness
in the first place.
