ATI 9200 vs. Geforce 5200?

Fx 5200 for sure, the 9200 is an 9000 with 8x agp which is based on the older ATI chipsets. The fx 5200 is on par with the Ti 4200 when AA and AF are tuned on. So much better image quality. Also the FX5200 will play direct x 9 games when they come out in a limited capacity. Even Ati fanboys will agree with this.

LOL yes the FX5200 CAN play DX9 games...
But its so damn slow you will wish you hadn't tried!

honestly you could choose either. They both have pretty low levels of performance.

You might be better off trying to find a Ti4200 or possibly a second hand R9500pro.
