Yea, using alot of ps2.0 is deffinately optimizing for ATi cards considering how crappy the FX cards handle that shader.

I think that this is a very good tactic to counter Nvidia's logo. Nvidia puts their stupid logo on all of these games coming out. ATI simply bundles Half-Life 2 with it's new card in time for the Christmas buying season. Hmmmmmmmm, let me think here for a sec........

yeah, using what dx9 or opengl 1.5 provides and about nothing more is optimizing for ati actually its optimizing for "all cards that work the way its ment to be done"


i'm SO interested how nvidia wants to get around the troubles that start to show up now. they where able to bash futuremark, as a small company. but can they bash valve, ea, and all the others? ...

there is no nvidia against tombraider bashing yet at least..
