Laptop screen

This is kinda a loaded question its a decent resolution allot of laptops have that resolution. We can't really help you unless you give us more info are you gonna view standard definition you tube videos? do you plan to watch HD Blue ray movies , Game? In general id say ya its a decent resolution unless you plan to use it for alot of high def movies and that kinda thing bothers you , your asking so I'm guessing you care.

i'll be using it to view standard definition you tubes videos!
basically i plan to keep the laptop i buy now for the next 4-5 years!
so i wanted it to be as updated as possible.

and how is acer aspire timelinex 5830tg?

Then its a fine resolution. Thats a good laptop I wouldn't go any slower then a i5 in a laptop if you want it for more then 2 years. So its a good choice.

I would say that in the vast majority of cases more ram is better unless we are talking like 12gb>16gb for some one who is gonna use it for face book. In your case I recommend going for 4gb.You probably wont see any difference day to day its more you will have less of a chance of being easily bogged down in processes.
