Did you try google? using "Rogers Peet" as the search string, including
the quotes, turns up 728 hits. The very first one
(http://www.14to42.net/42street4.html) has some history on the company...

Thanx Bruce; Yes - I saw that link (and others).

My understand (so far) is that the Rogers Peet Company manufactured
clothing in NYC and only had retail outlets in NYC up 'till approximately
1925 (what I can validate). As I am from the Boston area I'm guessing
that this photo (circa 1935) is either from NYC or Boston. If I can
somehow prove that there were no retail outlets outside of NYC up to the
mid-thirties then I can pinpoint where the photo was taken.
