Hi,

I've been trying to get my MB sound
running again, after having it go silent
- except - for WMP, and RealPlayer,,, I
brought up
Control panel,
add, or remove programs,
sorted it by most frequently used,

And got a surprise.
Adobe 4 was on top (I never use
it.)
And Adobe 7, was next (ditto usage.
).

I uninstalled ver4, and
repair/installed ver7.

My sound is back !
Dunno why, but after days of
fumbling, I'm not bitchin.
