BenQ G2400W "driver" for Windows 7

Hello,
BenQ has told that they will not provide Windows 7 compatible "drivers" for the G2400W monitor.

Is it possible to write one's own? I do have the XP drivers, so all that should be needed is knowing how to plug it into a format Windows accepts...

Hi newcomer and welcome to the Tom's hardware forum.

Check in the manufacturer's webpage for Vista drivers if exist u can use it because usually are the same.

And no, isn't possible write ur own driver.

The manufacturer's webpage are almost completely void of anything even resembling downloadable drivers.

Oh well, I guess it's back to WinXP, then.

^Or check with Everest what components do u rig has and download the driver from the manufacturer's web page and not from the BenQ site.
