I'm trying to load a basic CD tutorial on my PC and I get the error message...
File Error - Cannot find SHELL.DLL

After hitting ok I get the message

Install -- System DLLs correupt or missing.

How can I fix this?

Start>Search>type SHELL.DLL and click OK
It should find at least two copies of the file.
One under C:\Windows\System and the other under C:\Windows\System32
if one of those is missing, you can copy and past from one to the other.
If none are found, you've got either a virus or malware/spyware on your
system. Scan your system first before doing anything else.
You can then extract it from your XP CD.
Go here:
Start>Run>type MSCONFIG and click OK
Click the Expand file button and fill in the blocks.
Or download it here and put a copy in both directories listed above.
