XP Pro SP2

In KB 132668, dealing with randomly changing icons, the possible need to
delete the ShellIconCache file. I've tried to find that file, but can't.

Help?

It's called Iconcache.db in Windows XP. Open this hidden folder:

%Userprofile%\Local Settings\Application Data

Locate and delete Iconcache.db
