I have three "Users" setup on my system. This only happens to one of them.

I want to change my display Theme and/or Appearance from Windows Classic to
Windows XP style in Control Panel - Display. When I make the change and
click Apply or OK I get a Window saying Wait, then the display slowly
changes to a gray scale and the system freezes. I must power off to restart.

I can change from and to this setting in control panel for both the other
users without a problem.

Any ideas on how I can correct the problem?

Thank You - Tom D.

To repair all system files, go to Start/Run, and type (or paste in): SFC /SCANNOW (see: Description of Windows XP and Windows Server
